Meet Wesley E. Gilbert, Civil Engineer
Wes has more than 35 years of progressively responsible Civil Engineering design, Land Surveying and Hydraulic/Hydrology experience. Wes’s experience working on public works and private development projects includes street design, utility design, detention basin design, boundary/property surveys, construction staking surveys, as well as hydraulic, hydrology and stream/river modeling.
Wes has provided Civil Engineering and Land Surveying for residential / commercial / industrial projects in Chico and surrounding communities. These services include the design of street improvements, water systems, storm drains collection and detention/retention facilities, sanitary sewer collection and treatment facilities and residential, commercial and recreational site layout and design including parking lot plans, grading, drainage and utility plans. Surveying responsibilities include performance of topographic, property and construction staking surveys; preparation of legal descriptions and preparation of parcel, record of survey and subdivision maps.
Credentials and Experience
Wes graduated from California State University, Chico, in 1977 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP). Wes is also a Butte County Certified On-Site Wastewater Designer.
His qualifications include:
